DAY 7 Daily Devotion on the Father’ Great Love

While in the Trodoos Mountains on the island of Cyprus, I had a face to face encounter with the Lord. During the night while I was sleeping, I sensed Jesus coming close and placing His face on mine and I saw into His eyes. His eyes were like flames of fire and He said to me:

“You will see the world through my eyes from now on and you are receiving an impartation for the nations.”

He shared some other things with me and those were very private. When my youngest son passed away suddenly, he was still on life support when I arrived at the hospital. At one point, I placed my face on his face; nose to nose and forehead to forehead. This was much like the Lord did when He visited me, and He reminded me of the special moment I had with my son and He knew how much this meant to me.

During the visitation in my room in Cyprus, the Lord looked into my eyes and pulled me in deep, so I could see what is inside His heart for me. I found the truth and the mystery of His love when He took the pain in my heart and consoled me by this loving gesture. I was lost in His embrace, as I felt His warm breath on my face.

The Father knows exactly how to touch broken hearts deep down and heal any wounds and even remove scars. He is a compassionate God, who can sympathize with us and has mercy on us.

Hebrews 4
15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Amp
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of sympathy (pity and mercy) and the God [Who is the Source] of every comfort (consolation and encouragement), 4 Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction), so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we ourselves are comforted (consoled and encouraged) by God.

This visitation was truly an intense time and it felt like I was crying and laughing all at the same time.  As I pondered what this was all about, the below scripture came to mind:

Revelation 1:14 b…And his eyes were like flames of fire.

In His eyes of fire I saw the passion He has for His Bride and the fiery love He has for the world. I felt like I was diving into His eyes like an ocean, full with fiery flames, to see deep into His heart filled with burning desire. His heart is represents an entrance to the heavenly realm.

Seeing His heart, the Lord bids us to obtain from Him eye salve to anoint our eyes so that we may be enlightened, gain discernment, and are able to see clearly what heaven has for us. (see Revelations 3:18)

I am praying that the fire of the Holy Spirit will renew you and that you will encounter the Lord’s heart for you!  For your eyes to be anointed with eye salve, for you to be spiritually enlightened to gain discernment and see into His fiery eyes reflecting His passion for you.

Write down any impressions you receive today and share with us, if you like.
